I was going to do this but checked my previous bills to see my usage, and I average 14 to 16 gigs a month by myself. My wife uses 5 or 6.
    Detailing is an Obsession!!

I did the same thing on Sunday. $30 less per month and went from 6gb to 10gb.

          Porn

I could see that with someone that doesn't have home wifi or has multiple tablets plus phones.

" I acknowledge that, by changing to a Mobile Share plan, I will no longer have unlimited data as part of my wireless phone service"

so this is what it is really all about.
This is going to sound crazy, but my phone's internet got faster when we switched to a mobile share plan away from the unlimited plan.

Lol, I know it's crazy. I'm a truck driver, so I use a shit ton of data on my gps I'm sure. All while constantly streaming music and netflix when I'm done for the day.

Because they don't need to throttle you as much anymore.

If you're a heavy data user and had the old "unlimited" plan, you gonna get loved tenderly by the overages.

Yeah, probably what I should have said.

Hell, we share a whopping 2 gig on our family plan with Verizon, but we don't exceed it. Most of our data use is at home on our wifi.

This is what we do, but we both have 2 gig. Its all good until my wife comes in and asks why she is getting text messages about her usage and then says "someone" turned off her wifi on her phone.

                        someone huh

Haha.. I have a Razr Maxx and it has a tool that lets me set conditions based on GPS location. So at home and work it automatically turns the wifi on.

Some of guys are getting confused. Here is an example like stated on the 1st post.

                              10gigs of data is $100
If you are under 2yr contract before Feb 1 2014 it will be $15 for each additional line for smartphones.

So if you had two lines before Feb 1, 2014:
                              $100 10gigs
                              $15 smartphone
                              $15 smartphone
Total: $130 plus all the taxes

But, if you start a new contract, lets say today, tomorrow, or there after with two new phones under a 2yr contract your price will be this.

So for two lines after Feb 1, 2014 aka Feb 2 or there after:
                              $100 10gigs
                              $40 smartphone
                              $40 smartphone
Total: $180 plus all the taxes

After your 2yr contract and you do not get another new phone the $40 per phone will go down to $15 for each phone then it will be the $130 as mentioned above.

Its just better to use there online app to see what is best for you.

My wife just redid our company plan and saved over $300 a month.
