I was wondering where the good spots around ft worth are at. Looking for a place where the environment isn't too loud, kind of laid back. Meeting up with a friend tomorrow night for a few drinks and to hang out. I don't venture out in that area too much so I honestly don't have a clue of any good places.

Malone's is a nice and clean dive bar at the edge of downtown.

Yeah downtown or anywhere close to downtown. She lives like less than 10 minutes from downtown. She's actually heading out there for a friend's birthday. Probably sshould stick to that area. How's parking out there? I haven't been out to West 7th in a while but the only memorable thing I remember was not to park in old Montgomery Wards parking lot and let your shit get towed. Do not go to fucking Billy Bobs for fucks sake. Carlos, you can pretty much park in the Bass Hall garage for free and start walking and find a good bar. Obviously I'm biased towards the Saucer, but I'm not sure if they're finally selling liquor these days or still only beer, and that can be a deal breaker for some people.Comment

Downtown parking is free after 5pm and it is easy... Garages on both the west and east side of sundance square. Flying saucer is the best bar/patio IMO and they do have a full bar.
West 7th area there are a lot of bars and restaurants to chose from, and everything is walkable. Parking isn't too bad since there is free valet/parking validation for most places. If you go over to the warehouses east of Foch, Fred's or any of the outlying bars that aren't apart of the condos, you can't use those parking garages. The gingerman is a good choice and just further west on camp bowie.
Magnolia street, a little more yuppity but a few good bars and lots of good food...

Capital bar is nice with inside and outside bars plus they have a great patio. Studio eighty was kinda cool I had never been to an 80's club so it was different but it's small.Comment
