I take that back. It was 2011. I forgot we were in 2014 already. It was 2009 when he stole and then sold it.

    Miss that car.

I remember the thread of that pic. Didn't the cops hassle you for driving on the state flowers?

Amen to that... Cousin recently stabbed a guy 52 times with a screwdriver, I just don't get people sometimes, family or not.....

More so the workers at Chilis that took issue with it. I don't remember if there was even a cop around. It is right next to the DPS station.

Oh he did this a year ago and since the place doesn't check your credit or report to your credit agency, it didn't set off my alert.

Besides, if he were to do what you suggest, the dad will just keep doing it to him. I know some people who have parents that live off them like this (using their credit and stuff like that). That is not a road you want to travel down.
Met my father have you? He lived with me for a week, my little brother for 6 months, my grandparents for a year, my sister for 8 months. I've bailed him out of jail several times for assault, paid for his divorce and did his mediation, when he was kicked off his truck (he worked for Warner briefly) I paid for him to get back to Texas, I paid 2 months on his storage so he wouldn't lose everything he owned. I've paid car notes and hotel rooms, I've fed and housed him. I've loaned him thousands of dollars in the past and just wrote it off when he didn't pay me back.

Nope, I'm done. This could have hit me and taken my VA benefits.

If my father did any of the things listed. I would never talk to him again. Ever!!

Dang man, I feel bad for you. My parents divorced when I was young, and although I really didn't see or talk to my father much for several years, when I eventually moved in with him at 15 he was a positive influence. I experienced a bunch of messed up stuff, mostly on my mom's side, but I feel fortunate that neither of my parents screwed me over financially.

I could tell stories for days about shit that went on around my house when I was in high school. Cars and trucks, guns, computers, anything with value being sold or traded for drug money. Shit getting stolen from my room while I was asleep, etc.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Dallas wouldn't have the time to prosecute for such a thing. But it happens, sadly enough. Family can be the worst offenders of all. I'm used to my friends being dicks...but at least they don't use my money to buy me a beer after they fuck up. Good luck!
I no longer shift gears - I switch beers. Cheers!
