I think you should hunt up an LT1 Roadmaster wagon.

I don't think early 90s will be able to compete with early 00's for comfort and certainly not with reliability.

If it ever stumbled, you could throw a 5.3 at it. Also, those mid-90's Buick velour interiors were stupid comfortable.

80's-90's B-Body GM cars are some of the biggest couches on wheels I've ever driven. If you're worried about comfort/reliability in a big car with tons of available parts, I don't see how you could go wrong. Buy a granny-owned unfuckedwith example and you're golden.

Yeah, that's what I want to do with a daily driver, convert the engine to something else. Because it worked out so well for me with my SVO.

I'm sure you were replying to Yale, but that's why I said buy one that hasn't had anything done to it. If you need a motor or anything for it, that shit is cheap. There's 4l60E's all over the place, and LT1, or earlier SBC crap is cheap and plentiful. You were in the parts business so you should know.

There isn't a car from the 00's that can compete with 80s-90s cars on comfort.

My mom still has her old 84 Park Avenue, sucker might as well have lazy boy recliners in it. As for reliable, it's been sitting since 97, I can go out right now and fire it up and drive it anywhere.

How many 2000 or newer Cadillacs, BMWs, Mercedes, Jaguars, and the like have you ridden in?
