If it isn't, then why does it have upper shadowline trim and the Sport steering wheel?

That's the other thing, the year is incorrect, unless they've changed the headlights and Nav. That dealer has two black 7 series and reading the two ads it looks like he got several options confused with each other.

        Who cares.

Look at the seats, it's a dead giveaway.
        Sport:

        Non sport.

        • Those are the same seats DJ. LOL The seats aren't different in the sport and non-sport, just one is extended and one isn't.

Well, one of those cars looks pretty ragged out, and the one with the close tolerance looks like it has been kept in pretty good condition. Seats in my old sport:

Man that car looked good. Damn that grey interior.

If that is an i, it isn't a Sport because it has the wrong steering wheel. If it is an iL, I would have to see other features to know if it is a Sport.

'Fraid not this go 'round. BMW does make it a labyrinth to understand their goddamned options though, I'll give you that.

                      • A Sport Package becomes available for the 740i which includes: blacked-out exterior "shadowline" trim, Vavona redwood interior trim, 18-way adjustable sport seats, staggered 18-inch (460 mm) alloy wheels, a stiffer M inspired suspension with thicker front and rear anti-sway bars, Steptronic Transmission with higher stall-speed torque converter, and a higher 3.15 final drive ratio (versus 2.92).

I think the "18 way adjustable" is what should be highlighted there, with "sport seats" just being advertising filler to tell you what is being adjusted.

I know you're not trying to argue with Eric, that's worse than trying to get into a short conversation with Craig...

                              • You guys understand that e38 owners love the mix and match of rare options. Stitching trims, seats/interior and other things like bar and first aid kits are rad to them and those are the type of mods they make.

Not really that bad, unless you take it to the stealer.
