OH man what good insight! You know damn well he means mainstream media coverage. Your constant "correction" of minor meaningless bs is 10x as annoying as Dr google ever was. Especially when you're wrong often enough. Focus on some halfway decent content.

I see what you're saying, but the OP did say "no coverage".

First of all, it's a local story, so why should any national media outlet pick it up? This line of reasoning that white people need crimes against us declared hate crimes is more ridiculous than the hate crime laws themselves. I'm sure it was reported in the local news media, but Houston is so big, it might've gotten lost in the sauce. Think both positions through, eat a bag of dicks, and shut the fuck up when grown folks are talking.

          Ban blow torches.

Sad, sad, sad thing for the 12 y/o little boy and his family. I hope they square her away in prison.

Aww...look at the Tarleton boy throwing a hissy fit. You have proven you really are incapable of comprehending the OP. All your basing the coverage on now is assumptions and "local"? Lol carry on with that small minded bullshit.

I was just saying for at least Texas area. Seems like I always hear what happens in Dallas or Houston or San Antonio when its a white on black crime or really any crime involving torture and/or minor. I never heard one word about it until a friend in Houston sent me the link.

Everyone knows what you were saying op. He just likes to smell his own brand by correcting a non existent mistake.

I comprehend his meaning, and I'm saying he's wrong. And yes, everyone knows what he was saying. That doesn't make him correct.

Nit picking minor pointless details like that will make everyone dislike you in the workforce dude. You know his intent was correct, you're looking at a pointless fragment of a paragraph and fixating on it when it has zero relevance to his higher level point. Like I said...small minded.

                        Not what?

I'm not hopping from post to post correcting minor bs details if that's what you're asking...

Dude, I understand workplace etiquette. My point was that crying about the news media not reporting crime strictly based on what race is wronging another is stupid. If sensationalizing white on black crime is wrong, then so is sensationalizing black on white crime. Guess what? They already report black on white crime. It's just called crime. If someone commits a big enough crime, don't worry. Nancy Grace will tell you AAAAALLLLLL about it.

EDIT: All the local news affiliates in Houston covered this, not just KTRK. It's big news in Houston. It's also a 4 year old case, so it's going to die off pretty soon. Suck it, bitches. Sorry your Google got shut off.

You mean the media only sells the stories big enough to drive ratings?

I'd still drill Natalee Holloway...although she may be getting a little funky at this point.

Seems like kidnapping then setting the kid on fire would be a big enough crime to merit more news attention. I guess that's how fucked this world is now?
