And, yes, I can be judgmental about this because a LONG time ago I was the same way.
EVERY transaction (check, the very rare debit, withdrawals and CC use) is tracked and I never have "surprises" when it is time to balance.

I've never had an issue with them.

You know that First Convenience bank that's in the wallmarts and some grocery stores? Get an account with them for a week or two, they have some strange policies that are straight up designed to charge fees. You'll think giving BofA a few bucks a month is a godsend. I got so mad at them that I drove to their corporate office (being in Killeen I should have known) and told them I was there to get some answers. You buy gas with your card at the pump, they take $100 out of your account, not on hold, out. Then they process the transaction, and wait 3-5 business days to put that $100 back in your account. The explanation was that if the charge came back, they were covered. At that time, I was driving all over Texas for work, and logging somewhere around 60k a year. They were completely unapologetic, and acted like it was my fault.

Dont most banks offer a "system" where if you screwup in checking they will yank it out of your savings acct?!

Mine does that at no charge.

dude you do realize you can setup your debit account to where if there's not enough money the transaction won't go through thus saving you from overdraft fees. Just give your bank a call sounds like it will save you a big headache.

                                Losing money? Cut wages?

What are you talking about? have you seen the earnings reports?

All major corporations cut cost where needed. There simply isn't as much people needed at a banking center anymore.
