  • 2005 Scion tC with TRD goodies. 140,000 miles and the only thing I have replaced have been the struts (now running full TRD suspension) and the MAF sensor. These cars are super reliable i'm probably going to sell it in about 6 months for something with more creature comforts.

    • ^I roll the same ricer. 28mpg (50/50). They can be found used in your price range. Other than fluids, the first 100k was a breeze. I run mine pretty hard and I am boggled the clutch is still there when I need it. Now I just need to find an off-duty toyota tech to check my valves out.

              • I guess its from growing up in west Texas, but the windshield wiper being left up always cracks me up in the NE. Granted I completely understand why, its just funny seeing everyone doing it.

                    • Luckily remote start can deal with just about any weather issues we run into out here.

I have remote start, but in single digit and negative temps, it doesn't warm up fast enough in the 10 minutes before it shuts off.
