They're filming all over the place. But yeah they have a spot in Taylor. So does Dusk to Dawn, the new Robert Rodrieguez TV series on the El Rey Network about cartel vampires. lol.

So I bought the e-book, read it and reviewed it (short) on amazon.
I'll be perfectly honest, I liked the book a lot. I will say that I read when relaxing for sleep, so sometimes I miss things.
Below is some nit picking. The reason I'm taking the time is I want to see this series continue. The premise is bad ass and the story all-in-all was awesome and fairly unique.
However, at the beginning it felt a little discombobulated and firmed up the story well as the book went on. While reading though, sometimes I'd have to back track to keep up. Understand this is a compliment - but I don't do that with Clancy books. Somehow (don't know the difference) they are serving up the content a little smoother/simpler
I noted several military inaccuracies. You don't call Army NCO sir and Army Captains do not command divisions. If a CPT were doing it out of necessity (not likely) it was not clearly outlined. There were more but I quit noting them and just enjoyed the book.
Little things like the infected being uber agressive and quickly tearing people apart at the beginning and then at the end being slow at eating folks. Was that because they were fading out or otherwise?
Some of the battle talks, it was difficult to draw a mental picture.
It would've also been nice to dive more into the soldiers, specifications...etc...etc. As an example, when they were not getting their drink - it would have been nice to know how much further they could go and so forth. They were needing to drink fairly soon into it - but if I recall right they went 3-4 days without it.
Again, this is all nit-pick stuff that *I* feel would have enhanced the book. Some more detail, but at the same time don't drag it on too far. If you release the next book, I'll certainly buy it and read it. I've read thousands of these types of books and if not in the top 20, certainly the top 100 and the story is clutch for it all.
Also I know somethings may have been left vague (more details on the drink and its purpose) on purpose for future books.
Good job on your first book.Originally posted by MR EDDU defend him who use's racial slurs like hes drinking water.
