I don't make these kind of threads but... I just need some good vibes or prayers (if that's what you do) sent to my little bro. The little fucker is at Arlington Memorial Hospital because he has 0 platelets in his blood. He's been there since Thursday. He had a bone marrow biopsy done to rule out cancer but still haven't gotten the results back for that.

They've been giving him platelet transfusions but it's not taking and they're giving him to options atm. And that's to either do some blood transfusions or remove his spleen (They think his spline is killing off his platelets). Problem with removing his spline is that he COULD bleed out. I don't worry too often but this is something that's been fucking me up for the past few days. Gotta have this kid in my wedding

My sister went through this as a teenager, 20 years ago or so. She still has some issues, but is overall healthy.

The worst part for me was that I was 18-19, and I went to visit her in the hospital, her room was right next to the room my grandfather died in the oncology ward. I was not prepared for that shit in the least.
