Second car I ever owned was an 84 silver/black GT vert. I liked my 84.5 GT350 so much I thought it would be nice to have a rag top version. 27 Mustangs latter and that was my only convertible. I just don't like verts. They feel like they are made of Jello.Good judgment comes from bad decisions and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

every time I've kinda sorta thought about buying a fox mustang, I've found myself drawn mostly to 85/86 GT Verts and 87-93 LX verts.
verts, ESPECIALLY older ones, kinda suck as a daily... top issues, interior noise, no trunk space, less chassis rigidity, etc.
But, they're awesome to cruise on nice days, so I can definitely see clean fox verts climbing in value as our generation seeks to buy clean examples of the cars they loved as kids. And if you're going to buy a nice clean stock car to cruise on nice days, why not make it a vert?

I like fox verts. I've had 3 of them, a 90 LX 5.0, a 92 GT, and a 92 LX 5.0. If it's a GT it's gotta be black, otherwise I would rather have an LX. I remember people going nuts for the 7-Up editions. I really didn't like them much aside from the emerald green exterior color.
My kid wants it when he gets older..lol
