Better make damned sure you do all req maintenance on the dot and do not modify shit on it. Seen those companies decline claims for different brand tires.

They will find a way out of any claim.

Over 100k on the truck yet? If not get a ford esp that will cover for 7 years from in service or 200k. I know someone who got major hosed on aftermarket warranty on a 6.0

I've had around 20 ESP warranties and they are awesome. Ive actually got a 07 6.0 getting a long block due to a injector tip damaging cylinder right this moment.

This is what's funny, they asked the guy I know for fuel filter maintenance
Records from new on a used truck. He couldn't prove they'd been changed but once, no coverage on injectors

Yep, i've gotten screwed by those aftermarket warranty policies before - they will deny every claim. If I decide to buy an extended warranty I'll only go with a warranty provided and sold by the manufacturer now.

$3600 could almost cover any issues you may or may not have , especially only up to 100K.

If you do decide to get it, i am sure you can talk them down from $3600.0

I would personally hold on to my 3600, if something happened then i would be out the money. if nothing happened i would still have my money.

I've never bought a warranty and never needed it. Most anything that breaks usually happens within the BtoB 3yr/36k and these days the drive train is covered for 5yrs/50k.
To me its just another way for them to make money.

I'm only speaking of Ford, BTW.

You might buy from Precise Auto Protection, but someone else will be adjusting the claims if you have one. For sales tactics and reputation their BBB rating may be helpful helpful, but Precise doesn't decide what gets paid and what doesn't. That is the company that is listed as the administrator on the contract.

Typically when you buy a service contract you have 30 days to review the contract and cancel it. If you buy one take that opportunity to read it. If you don't understand it or don't like it, cancel it.

Remember, you are most likely buying a contract that covers specific items under specific circumstances. It isn't a factory warranty. Even if a part is listed as covered there are exclusions that can make it ineligible, and it would be in your best interest to read and understand them.

Personally I take the same approach HECDOGGIE does and it has served me well up to this point.

I would look at a factory backed plan or buy direct from the underwriter. This company sells you to another company, too many people involved and making money. Call your insurance agent and see if they offer anything.

Personally I wouldn't ever deal with anyone if you can't figure out their physical address. Their "call center" is either in a lumber yard or some kind of pipe manufacturer according to address they have on file with the BBB.

Also if push comes to shove I'd prefer to deal with someone based in my own state. When it comes to insurance they tend to jump if the attorney general writes them a letter.
