First of all I am never the guy that is running around trying to shove this shit down anyone's throat. I understand that you either believe or you dont. And when I say believe that is the part that I dont even know what exactly I am believing in. I grew up in a home that didn't really prescribe to anything religious. We went to church maybe 15-20ish times a year and while my folks were considered good people you could hardly consider them bible thumpers. They were just very down the middle kind of people. My mother was and still is a school teacher and my dad was a cop among other endeavors. I was very sheltered as a child and had never even heard of anything like this until I got out on my own. I laid all that out just to give you an idea that I was not raised around some religious nut bags and my opinion of this topic has been purely formed around my own personal experiences. When I said believe earlier I am not saying I believe in a god, satan, heaven, or hell. I do however believe in some form of an afterlife. What all that entails or how it works is beyond me. Take this story as you will and believe me or dont but everything I am putting down here is absolutely true. Some of the details may be coincidental or non factors but my brain has tied them to these events.

Me and the wife had a house built in Midlothian in 2009. It is a newer subdivision built onto a little bit older one. When we were picking out lots the wife was somewhere between 6-7 months preggers. The sub division was about 40% picked over at the time so there were plenty of good lots left. the lady that was showing us around was a little bit off to say the least. She kept insisting that we choose this one lot. We weren't thrilled about it because it was one of the lots that was considered a "premium lot" and had an extra charge to go with it. Not to mention shit loads more grass to cut and maintain. When we told her no for the last time she told us she would cancel out the extra fee for the lot and then proceeded to tell us that our son would love it there. Mind you we had just met this lady like an hour ago and my wife was by my side the whole time and while she was obviously preggo we never spoke of it with this lady. I know she had a 50/50 shot of guessing but after the fact it both struck us as weird. So the house was built and we moved in and my son was maybe a couple of months old at the time. As far as I know everything was smooth sailing for about a year. I have always been a proponent of kids sleeping in their own beds unless it is a special circumstance. My son would sleep through the loudest thunder storms that would shake the house and scare the dogs but he would just sleep right through. Then on a semi regular basis when things were just fine and normal he would wake up screaming. We dismissed it for a variety of reasons because, well he was a baby. We would bring him into our bed and the rest of the night would be uneventful. Then one of our dogs started out of the blue sleeping in his room when he was in there. She had never done this before and really didn't take to our son so well because he as a baby was hard on her not knowing that he could hurt her. She never minded but always steered clear of him. We once again chalked it up to something else. the interesting thing about this is that if one of us went in there she would always come to the door but would not set foot inside unless our son was in there as well. When I say wouldn't I mean you couldn't drag her in the room unless you picked her up and then she squirmed and bucked until you put her down and she would bolt out of the room. One of my sons first words was "hand" and still to this day (he is almost 5) still talks about it. He would point into his room and say "hand" and "that hand". At this point we both (me and the wife) started to wonder what was going on. For a while it went on just like this no real things happening except the dog acting weird and my son constantly talking about this hand in his room. Then small things started happening to me only in the laundry room when I was passing through there on the way out to the garage. The first few times I didn't think much of it, oh it was me that knocked that hangar off the rack. Or the door shut too hard and knocked a hangar off of the rack. Well after about the 10th time this happened there was only white hangars on the rack and one black one. I noticed that it was the black one that fell off and put it back on the rack in the closest available spot and I mentally noted that it was the third from the far right. A few days later same thing and it was the black hangar. I picked it up and placed it on the far left. Next day on the way out same thing same hangar. I removed it and put it in the closet and nothing happened for a week. I told the wife about it and we then put a red hangar in the center of all of the hangars. Next day on the way out I heard one drop, I turn around and the red one is laying on the dryer. We tried this over a period of time with several colors and while not every day eventually any odd color would be knocked off of the rack. We placed a variety of colors on the rack one time and nothing happened. It would only happen if you had one odd color hangar on the rack. That scared us and opened my eyes to a lot of things. After that we were on edge a little bit. IN the front of our house there is an office. One night my son strolled into the office, I never like for him to be out of my sight anywhere so I got up and went in to guide him back out of there. When I rounded the corner he was standing perfectly still and had locked his eyes onto something in the corner. Kids his age at the time have a hard time starting at anything for 2 seconds so when I saw him and his thousand yard stare into the corner I looked over and saw nothing. I looked back at him and asked him what he saw. Without looking at me and keeping his eyes trained on the corner he asked he "who is that"? I then asked him "who are you talking about?" he raised his arm and pointed into the corner where nobody was all while maintaining this unbelievable stare down I had never seen from him before and said "that man". This made me uneasy to say the least so I calmly broke his attention on that corner and walked him out of there like nothing happened. The last thing that has happened to me is that I was in the fridge for something one day. I grabbed a few things that needed to be thrown out went for the trash can. I left the doors open since I was coming right back. When I turned around I witnessed a jar of pickles literally thrown out of the fridge. I didn't see how it happened but it didn't just land on the ground in front of the fridge. It hit in the middle of the counter and skid off the other side breaking on the ground as it hit. To date this is all that has happened. It may not be a full blown demonic possession but it is enough to make me believe that there is a spirit world of some sort.

Asthma is caused by demonic possession and he can cure it, if my old board memory is correct.
