Yes some places don't take rolled coins anymore. Especially if you have a lot of them because what happens is some people will put quarters just on the outside ends. And metal washers in the middle. They've done it at our store that's why we do not except rolled coins I'll tell them use our coin star.

I tried to take a couple jars of coins into wells fargo in denton off 380, and they did not have a counter and would not accept them unless they were rolled. Ended up going to walmart and using the coin star machine.. took I think around 9% out but had no other choice as i did not want to roll almost $300 in coins..
