Both mine and my SO were both accepted by the IRS within 3-4 days of me filling. I used E-file so not sure if that makes a difference, though it does with NFA stuff.

It's a tax refund, not a return . . . if I actually get one (doubtful, but possible) probably a ducktail for the 997. I love how clean this looks! This is obviously not my car, but I love it. That's a Mexico Blue wrap, btw.

997 Forum - New Retro Wheels Arrived - I just got these Avante Garde Classics. They will be complimented with new Michelin Super Sports. Can't wait to install them to complete the retro look. They look like they are going to be a lot easier to clean as well.

The IRS pays 4% interest if your refund is delayed due to the IRS. My wife got $62 or so this year, I will eventually get $40 or so if they ever get around to issuing me payment.

Or maybe it's both? Considering that even the IRS uses the term "Tax Return":

Pay your taxes. Get your refund status. Find IRS forms and answers to tax questions. We help you understand and meet your federal tax responsibilities.

He meant throughout the prior year.

Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

We put it in savings every year also.
                                We're getting old I guess!

...it's not nearly as exciting to just save it, I know....but if I can't afford it any other time of the year, then I probably don't need to be buying it in the first place.

Sounds like that's a good decision and makes the best sense in your situation too. Nothing wrong with being responsible and getting into a home for a young family. It's too bad more people don't think the same way....and good to hear you aren't planning to blow it on a new TV for the Superbowl or something.

                                Best of luck to you!
