My issue with the online content is you spend more time scrolling through all the options than watching that rare tv show or movie you actually want to watch.

I cut cable to get rid of some expenses. But do miss it. However, local TV (rabit ears) has tons of channels. As long as we can watch news and football for now.Originally posted by Da PrezFuck dfwstangs!! If Jose ain't running it, I won't even bother going back to it, just my two cents!!Originally posted by VETTKLR

I went a couple of years without it from about, 2003 - 2005, and didn't really miss it. With an antenna you should not only be able to get the local channels, but you will even get them at 1080p (assuming they are broadcasting that high).

MLB makes me pay for Dish. You only get 1 Ranger game a week that isn't on FSSW. MLB.tv blacks them out locally so it's not an option either.
Might be an option for those of you in the metroplex but kind of on the outskirts. It's still legal and a pretty cool concept. In essence they setup a series of antennas and you lease access to them through their cloud. Due to licensing agreements you have to live in the area the channel calls their viewing audience for access but with some creative proxy servers you can get around that. You get a DVR and a clear picture for $8 a month.
