Yup. That seems to be the only way to live a balla' lifestyle these days.

Yea, I had them "audit" me for a house fire claim that I had a few years back. They said that I owed them $4000 unless I could come up with a document from when I bought my house 11 years ago!
I actually kept all the documents from when I bought my house so I was able to beat them fools!

I have been struggling since we have had our first kid and was laid off till may of last year. I'm currently working but looking for a better opportunity. Anyways, I've paid $52 dollars in taxes last year and my refund was 7600 bucks. It pays to be broke and hand babies I guess. I would way rather make 35k+ than have a fat check at the end of the year so it's NOT all it's cracked up to be

Don't remember now as H&R Block did my return that year...
Yea, I have learned from my mistakes and I am looking for a CPA to do it this year. I do know that my return that year was about $6000 and before that, it was about $1500 per year...

Yeah not many deductions here either. Each year of the last 4 years I have had to drop a dependant because I owed. Just had to go drop my last one with an adjustment since I once again owe a few dollars. No penalty amount this year so that's fine.

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

Before my wife and I got married last year, our refunds were a little over 1200 a piece (no kids). This year, now that we're married, "our" refund is a whopping 1400 bucks......babies here we come!!! lolz

I haven't done mine yet, last year I was going to owe so I opened an IRA and put the max in it so I ended up getting $300 return instead of owing. I'm pretty sure this year that Obamays going to owe me a good chuck of change.

Another reason not to get married.

I have never understood that myself. Hell, we had to pay in like $800 last year.

What we need are higher taxes, that will solve everything!

Actually, what I want to do is build up about $2 million in assets and put it all in tax free shit like municipal bonds. That way I can pull down about $150K a year tax free. Then at the end of the year i'll claim I made jack shit for income and the government can send me even more money because I am broke.

We need to be a non-welfare state but I don't see that ever happening.
