The Kia rental will do pretty good while the S4, GTI and Subaru are in the shop. I drive 80 miles a day for a commute and could care less how fast the car is. I want reliability, fuel economy and comfort.

my g35 was a great daily driver, fun car handled well, sounded great with exhaust and intake, didnt get very good mileage i think it was around 22-23 or so hand calculated mixed driving. i do have some offroad midpipes and an intake spacer if you want them, the best mods you can do for those cars.

i dont know what you can get one of the newer bodystyles for but that would be my vote. and i know they are a little dated now, but i always wanted an svt focus for a daily.

This. I saw 25 mpg on the highway easily and as high as 28 on one trip.

Here, and you don't even have to go halfway across the country to get it like I did.

That S4's dash looks like a Christmas tree with all the warning lights on. Combined 16 mpg and it requires premium. Good luck with that.

Look at 2004 i35 usually cheap at price. I just picked up one for a daily only 84k miles and still looks new. Plus Infiniti ever breaks get a free rental from dealership

Sure as hell sounds like it, assuming the mileage isn't crazy. I can't imagine you'd have much trouble getting that price.
