  • Best sporty sedans coupes and wagons under 15k

My new job will put me driving 200 miles a day give or take and I get mileage compensation from my employer. I think it may be time to retire my trusted but worn out 91 SHO. I am looking for something relatively new that will have performance and driveability similar to what I have been getting from my SHO, but I feel the sports sedan market is lacking. I have found several candidates but wanted to see what you guys have had and driven.

My only major stipulation is I want a clutch pedal, I know some cars in this bracket have very nice DSG's and I am open to them but I just find it boring.

    Acura TL http://dallas.craigslist.org/mdf/cto/4270606974.html
    Legacy GT http://dallas.craigslist.org/mdf/cto/4269395558.html
    VW GTI VR6 http://dallas.craigslist.org/ftw/cto/4297770463.html
    Audi S4 http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/cto/4291015472.html

I really like the S4 but that price screams something is wrong. also pics taken in front of an autozone...

I also want to look at 08+ golf TDI's but they are extremely rare, there is an 11' on ebay for 16k with low miles.

I am a fan of the CTSV and the Trailblazer SS, and apart from the hand of god thing they don't do much for me. CTSV's are still priced a little high and trailblazers all obviously automatic.

    What do you think?

G35. That white one is perfect with a stick and sport package. RWD FTW.

Pocket the extra money from the mileage.

I would rather have a forester X or a legacy gt over a WRX, I dunno

I'd look for something like this. Not this one specifically due to the mileage but spend a couple grand more and get it with a lot less miles

I may have posted this before but...

2001.5-2002 stage 3 Audi S4 6 speed sedan OR wagon. Typically good for about 450awhp and 20mpg

                    decent one here for $9500:

Another vote for g35. My girlfriend's 2006 sedan has been a great car, and a blast to drive

                        Fuck. That.
I've been daily driving cars with a standard for over a decade. Fucking done with that idea.

Get a tdi for all those miles. I drive a bunch of short trips and my mpg for 7k is 40.

I loved the Subaru wagon I drove around for a while.

I've been driving an '04 TL for a daily. It's comfortable and it's been a pretty good car, but it gets shitty gas mileage in mixed driving (18-19 mpg) and I'm not really a fan of front wheel drive.
