Anyone dealt with a total loss and insurance?

This is the at fault insurance company I'm dealing with. My insurance has not and will not be involved in this.

Doesn't matter, your agent is your agent, for better or worse, LOL. Had a new to me car, smashed within a month (totaled by a 15 year old in her Grandma's car), then 3 of the last 4 cars have been rear-ended. Last wreck, my insurance still helped me get it all handled. Also helped Lyn when she was hit on vacation in a rental car (rear-ended there too).

Fuck, I have had bad luck! At least non have been my fault!

Agree. It's called subrogation. Read up on it if you're not familiar.

He hasn't filed a claim with his first party insurer, maybe you should re-read this thread if you aren't familiar.
