I can almost gaurantee that there's not much on this site he hasn't heard, seen, experienced, or fantasised about already.
It comes down to whether or not you are ready to accept that he has already heard, seen, experienced, or fantasised about the stuff posted here.
"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." - Thomas Jefferson, 1776
My son is now asking when he can join the board. Ya know, now that he's actually someone that has one. I knew this day was going to come, but I'm not ready. He wants to learn more about it-which is why I wonder why he would want to join here. LOL
What's even more funny is that the convo went like this:
Him: Hey mom, when can I join the board?
Me: Um, when you move out.
Him: Well, when they start giving me crap, you'll stand up for me, right?
Me: I don't know you.
Him: :-\
When would you be ok with your kid joining?
Son... no big deal.. when ever...
Daughter.. FUCKIN NEVER

No matter how fast light travels it finds the darkness has always got there first, and is waiting for it.
My worry isn't the board content, but main issue is with the "worlds colliding" thing. He should be out there making his own friends and while "keeping an eye" on him would be easy here, this is our respite.
I would make him wait until he is out. What's to stop him from creating a username though? Like someone said: if the kid has a smartphone he probably already browses. You'll have to deal with everyone hazing the fuck out of him, and realize he is going to look back at all your old posts!
