Nor would I be bothered too much if I later found out he already had a user name and whatnot. But "officially", in my mind, I would like to keep the separation. At least until he's a full fledged adult.

This is what I'm taking about. If you're having an adult conversation about ANYTHING at home you usually tell the kids to run along, adults are speaking. Same holds true here, but this place is even worse, no moderation and we can say what we want, the first time he starts reading things he shouldn't repeat and repeats them it will be a problem.

Yes, actually it is. Our kids have grown up around half the board members and know they are from 'The Board". We've gone to birthdays, kid's birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, births, funerals, visited family, etc. and attended gtg's all over the metroplex. We know a lot of people from here and our closest friends are from this site.
