    But I am still winning...

I didnt name the shit, but it is the farthest thing from cigarette flavors as possible. I figured, if I am going to quit, why buy somthing that taste just like the thing I am trying to give up?

Plus, it is the most popular flavor from all of the research I attempted to do prior to purchasing.

Please explain what "mind over matter" and "mind over no-matter" mean, for those of us that don't know what's going on.

I think he's implying that neural transmissions aren't composed of the electrochemical reactions.

Some sandy vagina folks in here.

Whaaa...people vape around me. Just because you can see it does not make it any worst than people coughing, sneezing and generally breathing.

Agreed ^^^ I'm about to start using one. 90% of my long-time bartending buddies have QUIT smoking within a month of using the e-cig...some for years now. VERY proud of them all. My best friend got one for xmas and has already quit completely!

My main thing is, I don't always WANT/NEED a full cig. However, at that price - I'm not wasting one centimeter of it! An e-cig makes far more sense, especially since I don't work with pompous pricks and they don't care if I do it at my desk. (I mean, motorcycle exhaust trickles in here anyways. LOL)
I no longer shift gears - I switch beers. Cheers!

I look at things a bit differently I guess:

Folks are saying Mind over Matter as if it is just matter of fact which it isn’t. There are WAY more variables and interpretation of this phrase so I feel perhaps it is Mis-used.

"Mind over Matter": I couldn’t stop smoking, so I found a "matter" that allowed me to stop smoking. Now, I am cigarette free and the E-cig (matter) is a thing of the past. I swapped my matter for another matter which enabled me to stop both. I used my addicted mind to find a way to beat its own addiction, to me this is a pretty smart way of looking at it.

"Mind over No-matter": To me, this is what I see when people say the above phrase and yet they seem so hard-line as to not understand the problems of addiction. The phrase "mind over matter" is thrown around so often and yet backed up with saying such as "just stop" or "don’t do it"...whereas this is not reality

The electrochemical reactions are not balanced enough to supply the neural transmissions with the correct info paths...

So therefore, I call this "mind over No-matter" because no matter what, these folks think you should just be able to wake up one morning and never look back.
Oh. I've always interpreted it as mental vs physical (matter - atoms, substance, etc.), making your body do something it's telling you it can't. Forcing yourself to push out one more rep when your muscles are telling you they're done, or in this case, fighting through the physical pains of nicotine withdrawal.

yet, you can make up your mind not to give in to the cravings...

unlike severe alcohol withdrawal, nicotine withdrawal isn't going to kill you

Maybe not but it may keep you from killing someone due to nicotine withdrawals. LOL
Good judgment comes from bad decisions and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

Any amount of withdrawal can cause shock/seizures If the chemical balance is altered enough. Depends on the person and their health

What cravings? A exciting, unknown side effect for me since switching is I no longer have cravings. Hell, surprised myself the other day when a buddy was here at the house smoking a port, didn't phase me one bit.

I'd love to see some clinical studies on people having seizures from nicotine withdrawal
