"In response to a recent complaint about the Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) Police and a Jan. 12, 2014, Tampa Tribune article, a preliminary review indicates that all proper protocols were followed throughout the Dec. 30, 2013, 55-minute traffic stop on I-95, which was initiated for a speeding violation. The MDTA takes these allegations seriously and will continue to investigate this personnel matter."www.hppmotorsports.com

So, the guy gets stopped for speeding, gives cop CHL, cop asked if he had a gun on him he says no, then asked wife if there was a gun in the car and she says that their might be. Officer thinks something is suspicious about it, and searches the vehicle.
Seems like a bit of over-reach on the cop's part, but the originally posted article wasnt really truthful or accurate."If I asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses." - Henry Ford
