There is a new car place on Bryant irvin rd in ft worth called Colonial Classics. Should really give him a ring. He is buying up what ever he can get his hands on. Also if you will pm me your contact info my wifes grandpa is a huge collecter and might be interested in some. GLWS all on these. Thanx again.
Damn Rob! I wish I had the room for some of those! You hanging onto those Ramblers?
I'll be selling the Ramblers as a package and it'll be a really good deal for someone. The car in the photos is an excellent restoration candidate. I took the 401 out of it and have a 390 on a stand ready to reinstall. The 390 is totally numbers correct for the car, from carb to oil pan. The body is in very good shape save for a dent on the driver's door and other minor body imperfections. I've got many, many rare and desirable parts and another parts car to go with it.
You could put the motor in it and drive it for a while and then do a full restoration if you wanted. I'll think I'll price everything at $24,500. Both cars, both engines and all parts. My partner sold one last year for $39K. It was completed. They very rarely come up for sale. Put $6,000 to $7,000 in bodywork and paint and do the labor yourself and you've got a hell of a deal, in my opinion. Seriously, I think it's a real deal.....
If you have any interest in buying the building to keep the collection we have a commercial group now (with non-recourse options). Good luck with it whichever way you go.
I assume you're ok with it being reposted aywhere that might have buyers?
