The aluminum body panels didn't seem to have any negative effect on the 2011+ mustangs which have aluminum hoods and front fenders.

Probably still going to buy a new Denali truck in a year or two, but I tip my hat to Ford for taking the aluminum plunge. That substantial of a weight savings is going to help their CAFE immensely and the pocket books of owners with noticeably better fuel economy. Truck will probably drive more easily too. The current half-ton Fords are pretty ponderous to wheel around town.Ford
