How does one acquire these cool beer promostuff in the store displays? Signs and such

Last night I was surprised to see a couple of different nice leather chairs and one really cool old style steel insulated cooler. There is never anything for a drawing that I see to win one of these. Why do the distributors do this? Who gets these items when they change the display? These are getting much nicer than the neon signs.

The store owner does what he wants with them as far as I know.. My mom runs a store in Mansfield and has a ton of really cool promo items in her garage. She said that when they are done with them they just toss them out.

It depends on what the deal made with the store is. Some gets taken back, some go to the store employees, some get raffled off for charity or store parties.

The stuff you mentioned almost always goes back with the distributor.

When I worked for Motion Cycle sports we would deliver Yamaha PWC's to the stores for displays. When the display was done and we went back to pick them up, usually the beer rep would let us take whatever we wanted.
