When have you ever been driving at or near the speed limit where speeding up was HONESTLY the safer option to avoid a situation, as opposed to slowing down and yielding?

I think it's BS, and I hope that it never happens, but I don't think that safety concerns have any weight against it.

Unfortunately there are 13 other systems that all piggyback and rely on that GPS module, so if disabled your truck will no longer run.

                  LOL!
It would be easy enough to disable the transmit side of the unit without fucking up anything major.. plus i got a XLT none of that extra dfwm-baller stuff (nav, etc)... should be alright.

I did a quick google search with nothing coming up, i'm halfway tempted to sweep my truck for signals and find out where exactly the antenna is. It could be as easy as wrapping foil around the xmitter to disable its ability to report back data.

Ford doesn't give it to the NSA, the NSA just takes it at will.

Then move over a lane as soon as it's safe to do so, but that can't happen if you're already at the speed limit, because he would never be able to catch you.

So my '14 GT without GPS supposedly is tracked by them? Or only cars that are GPS equipped?

Okay, explain to us how cell phone signal triangulation can determine exact speed. It isn't as accurate as you think, and varies greatly from depending on provider, tower available and terrain.
