Okay, ZL1 base price is $55k, so Z/28 is $20k more. Why?

LS7 engine: $3k (it's more expensive to produce than the LSA)
very fancy race grade suspension: $5k
    Brembo carbon ceramic brakes: $8k
weight savings, better tires, wheels, aero, etc.: $4k

    There's your $20k right there.

Is it worth it? Ehhh, not so sure, but for the guy who wants the most capable Camaro ever made that looks pretty good (especially in the front), why not?

For the rest of us, getting a slightly used Z07 Z06 or even a new one for a huge discount or a new C7 Z51 for less money is the way to go.

My buddy got a leftover 2011 brand new Z06 with the mag suspension and carbon ceramic brakes that stickered at $98k for $69k brand new. Yes, $29k off sticker for a brand new car. He had to go to Wisconsin to get it and it was a leftover 2011 deep into the 2012 model year and he did call all over the country low balling a bunch of dealers until one of them actually took his offer.

In short, deals are there on C6 Z06 and you can even get a few grand off already on a C7 Z51 if you call around.

C7 Z06 is being revealed a week from today (January 13th) at the Detroit auto show. Can't freaking wait....

Also toy doesn't come with AC or headlamps or radio! But for 75K you can say your one of the only dumbass's to pay for it

This is the Cobra R of 14 years ago and about the same price considering inflation, but its a much better car. Why the hate?

I could buy a two story trailer house with real aluminum underpinning for 75K.

Because that is ridiculous for a mainstream Chevy. I don't care what the exclusivity is.

Was the Trinity GT500 a mainstream production car sold in a dealership for the same cost as a Regular Mustang not too long ago? No, I didn't think so.

Just making a point that GT500s can go for or very close to the same price as this. The z/28 is way more car for the money.
