Holy crap, small world. Did a crap ton of work to a 99 Cobra including an Eaton swap. He got it from that car. He told me it was a white Mach1 from Waco but never knew until now it was THAT Mach. LOL

This is the blower from that Mach. LMAO

Good judgment comes from bad decisions and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

      I currently own this car

I bought this car for a really good price. I was looking for something different and this just kinda fell in my lap. I don't really know a whole lot about it . What I do know is when I got it the turbo was shot and it had a really bad tune in the EEC. I've built another motor for it and I'm about to put it in within a couple weeks. I've been seriously considering taking that cheap ON3 kit off and going back with a Eaton swap. The car seems like a good platform to build on but I've already got the feeling that it is cursed . I don't know. Alot of things were half assed on it when I got it. That could have something to do with it. I'm still sorting things out every day. Its definitely came along way since I've had it. I would love to know more about the car so any info would be greatly appreciated. You could text me or hit me up on this forum. Cell 254-749-6193

Get a quality turbo and wastegate, keep the On3 kit if it doesn't have any fitment issues.

My old 92 super coupe was the definition of a cursed car. When I got it, it had two rods knocking, bad syncros in the transmission, and pretty good body damage. Rebuilt it with a new crankshaft, new rods, fixed the transmission, painted it, etc. 5K miles later I hit a puddle of water, while driving spiritedly and bounced off the rev limiter, started knocking after that.

Tore it down looking for anything that could cause that, found nothing, so I reassembled it with all new bearings just to be safe. Still knocked. Found a used engine out of a 94, got everything replaced and the damned thing would rattle your teeth out with engine vibration.

Tried everything to get it to stop, came down to either the wrong flywheel or something internally wrong. Sold it cheap as is. Month later I got a call from the dallas impound asking me if I wanted it back. I declined. Last I heard a junkyard was trying to sell it, my only hope is that it's been crushed into a bright atlantic blue Rubik cube.

+1 to Don and Yale's posts. Since on3 switched to mild steel, the kits haven't had problems like before. Get a cheap t4 BW turbo and a good WG like jgs, tial, precision and you're set.

Even though it's on3, you'll still make more power than the Eaton no problem.
