That thing will get torn up in a matter of months, and fuel mileage is going to kill you on the 6.2, especially with it being a work truck. Your work truck now is paid off. It may not be pretty, or new, but it gets the job done.

You have two f body track cars, and I don't even know how many Mustangs. Why do you need a semi quick truck? Don't get me wrong. It's your money, you work for it, and you should spend it how you see fit. I wouldn't even consider something like that though. Maybe when you've grown your business to where you have a couple trucks and crews, and all you're really doing is supervising. But I wouldn't add any expense to a business that isn't absolutely necessary.

I do really well, and I drive an 11 year old car with 230,000+ miles on it all over the State of Texas every day, simply because I don't want to be locked in to a car payment. Sure, I'd like something nicer and newer. And I'm close to pulling the trigger on it. But it won't be brand new, and it won't come with a payment.

Yes both Lawn trucks are paid for & your right! I really dont need another fast vehicle! I have to many cars as it is. I think I was in love with the idea of since I own a 94 GMC & a 04 GMC well why not a 2014 GMC LOL! But now that you put it in perspective, Then yeah you make a good point! I thought the 6.2 trucks where getting 22 mpg city 25 Hwy

They may be, but I'd find that really hard to believe. I had an 04 2500 with the 6.0, and I was lucky to get 12mpg on the highway, empty.

Maybe if the 6.2 only has to push around an S-10.

                  My new GMC work truck
Trying to keep the dents out of it! But I already have some small ones. Kinda hard to keep a nice truck in my business

Maybe in 4 to 6 more years I will own a 2014, But I do like to day dream

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.
