I have a Lucasi I picked up for $130 used (hairline crack in the butt section) that retailed for $340. I took a gamble and it paid off: I've had it 7 years and the crack has not spread or discolored. I also have a Meucci I got for $200 that retails for $600-700. I spent over a year trolling around until I found someone selling the model I wanted cheap enough.

I've seen it in person. Broke the skinny end off over the guys face and then used the butt end over his ear. Fucking hardcore and surprised he didn't kill the guy.

I like Huebler cues. You should be able to find several for about $150. Made in USA.

                    Not a top shelf shaft.

OP.... You can get into a Player's cue with the HXT shaft for around that. It's a low deflection shaft that is built just like the G-core from McDermott and it comes with a Kamui Black soft tip.

You have lost your fucking mind if you think Predator cues hold value. They feel fucking rough on the hit.

Joined wood and spongy glue with cheap cork centers. Over priced pieces of shit.

I saw a Lucasi today for $109 with a white butt. It said "Lucasi" in plain letters and "309" on the other side. Can't find any info on it... There was a blemish on the butt and the shaft was really blued.. The only search result point to the le14 but the le14 has a black butt: http://www.omegabilliards.com/LUCASI_LE_14_p/le14.htm

Nope. Almost all of their butts are joined wood. Just like all of the cheap, china made cues.

OB shafts have the same cork in them. Some of them even have styrofoam in the center.

Any recommendation on a replacement shaft? I prefer a light (18-19oz) cue and use a lot of low english
