  • Pool cue recommendations

I'm a mediocre player and I don't really intend to change that, but it's to the point where I'm not enjoying myself playing with crappy cues. I've had tables off and on and always just used cheap sticks.

Who makes the best cues for around $150? Where should I look in North Dallas?

I really liked my Mcdermott Cue that I had.

              OP-

McDermott, Players, Vikings, and cuetec should all be fine.

Still cheap junk by certain standards on here, there is a member here with cues that cost amounts that would blow your mind.

If I played like I used to I would look into a schon..

I have a McDermott as well though it is a sneaky pete and is a bit heavier than I like. Howevr, they offer a lifetime warranty on their cues.

While we are on the subject, any recommendations for replacement shafts? I shattered the shaft for my viking a few years back and never replaced it.

I don't know if they make them in that range but Predator makes good cues too.
