I fail to see the benefit in getting married. I don't need an expensive ceremony, expensive ring, and a legally-binding contract to prove my love to someone.
Believe or not women don't see it like that and it has nothing to do about love....
<----Learned the hard way
Dated for 6 months, engaged for 6 months, married over a year....go for it.....we did the tropical beach wedding in Costa Rica....just me and her, no wedding bullshit. Loved It!!!!
Girlfriend and I had been dating about 7-8 months when she told me she was pregnant. My proposal was, "well, you want to get married or what ?!"....and that was over 12 years ago. Lol.
And there is no denying the lineage of that kid lol

Is she worth half your shit and alimony? Why does any dude want to get married? I got married after 8 years and 2 kids just so the old hag would stfu about it.
Actually 3/4 of your shit. Half of everything, then half of your half <--paraphrased from a Texas judge.
Getting married in the state of Tx is all for her, and all risk for any male. And that's if you don't have kids.
<--is married.

Miyako and I dated for about 6 months and I broke it off. A few months later realized I had made a mistake. We dated for a couple more months and I popped the question a day before taking her to meet my family.
