  • Traxxas Corporate headquarters in McKinney

Anyone know if Traxxas has opened their new headquarters building in McKinney? I heard they were planning to have a large retail section with parts for all of the Traxxas products and some tracks open for public use.

I think it is operational. They have all construction trailers out of there. That being said, drive by.

I spoke with them back at the first of November at sema and was told they were in te transitioning stages at that time. I would expect them to be operational by now.

I talked to them last weekend. They just have the warehouse operational, not any of the showroom, sales area.

If you ever dealt with LG Motorsports back before they moved you might remember Chris Siggins. He's a sales manager at Traxxas, cool guy. At least last time I spoke to him he was.

Oh damn! I might take an expensive trip once they get opened up.

Everyone I race with is always talking shit on my Traxxas cars, but when my cars outrun their high dollar Losi's and Associated's they don't have much to say. It hurts worse that my Dirt modified is Pink. I have a small fortune in Traxxas. I would like to visit this place.

Shit I just got the snap on special edition model and got crushed by an 18 wheeler my first outing with it hahahaha. It actually held up pretty well but it will need some shock they blew out. I guess I'll be heading up to McKinney.

I swung out to station 8 the other day, and Traxxas is part of that district. I was trying to talk the captain into going out there and doing a "pre fire plan" for it, but it was more for me to check it out haha.

My cousin works for them. He does some kind of sales and gets to "test" the equipment all the time. I believe he was at SEMA this past show as well. I had no idea how fast those little things could go.

They used to be off Shiloh Rd. We would skate in the warehouse district they were in. Could find pretty decent shit in their dumpsters that we would take it to Indoor RC in Mesquite and hock it off.....

They have come a LONG WAY. I tried racing with their Nitro 4-tec when it first came out and it literally took 3 months to get replacement parts when I crashed it. I can't imagine how bad it was for people that didn't live in the same area as the manufacturer.

I bought a slash 4x4 couple years ago and it has been great! I have broken a couple parts as expected from a basher, but after a couple rpm parts upgrades it's a great truck. Te only problem I had was with their electronics and motors. They would burn up after only a couple outings. Upgraded to tekin stuff and now I regularly run 3s lipos with 0 issues. Truck is a beast!!
