I remember back in 88 I passed that car three different times on 95 in CT. Back then that car was a big deal and seeing it driving down the highway was a big deal. I forgot to get a picture with my phone though.

I have always loved this car and one of my deepest regrets in my life is not going to work for John Lingenfelter when I had the chance.
I went looking for this car to buy it about 8 years ago and found that it had been sold at auction in a lot of 5 cars for $120,000 and could not locate the new owner. Can not wait to see what this thing goes for.
By the way; when the 254 mph run was made the car was making close to 1200hp and not the power number quoted.Magnus, I am your father. You need to ask your mother about a man named Calvin Klein.Comment
