Yes, I donated an 86 Bonneville that barely ran, had rust & hail damage to Dallas Can Academy. After the auction, DCA sent me a tax form for the amount it sold for -$586. I claimed it on my taxes & no problems.
My dad donated one about 9 years ago. It was a 1978 Mercedes 300D wagon. Beige with red interior. I wanna get one of those one day.

Do you have to have clean title? I acquired a car via marriage that her ex had in his name. It was awarded to her in divorce but he never paid on. It still runs but coolant leaking into oil and not worth a damn to fix. Its been a spare car for all my family for the last 8 yrs.
