  • question for the doctors

For the last 3 days ive been having pain on the back, outside part of the thigh right above the knee. Its very tender. I can walk on it but catch myself limping some from the pain. If I have to squat down and then get back up its even more pain. What might be causing this? Thanks.

There is nothing major in that area of your leg so it is likely something musculoskeletal (sprain/strain) and will heal with time. I assume that the area looks normal with no bruising or swelling? If I saw you in the ER for this I would tell you to just take some Midol and suck it up.

All that squatting at pants parties has finally caught up to you.
