The judge knew he couldn't keep it clean for ten years, and knew that when he fucked up as an adult, the current probation status of these charges would fuck him royally, instead of harshly punishing him as a minor and it coming off of his record.

It's interesting that these two have managed to stay off the radar for the last couple of weeks. They don't strike me as "off the grid" survival/prepper types that know how to do that.

I haven't done any research, but someone at work was saying the max penalty he could have received was 2 years in jail as a minor.
