Any thoughts on that one? I am having trouble finding something I can afford with a 5.3L in it. I had myself convinced I was going to buy a light colored truck this time around (white/silver) however, I keep going back to this particular one

I just called. Confirmed it was the truck pictured and that it was still there

It was an 06 F150 fx4 with the 5.4 at either 98k or 102k miles. I did bring my own plugs though.

Damn, that's cheap. I just finished mine up and only broke one. It does run much better now. I would have gladly paid $125 to have it done!

I dont know man, I rode 800 miles in the back of an F150, which had room, but the back seat of my 2014 GMC Sierra has as much or more room than that 2013 F150 I rode forever in........

I hate the bullshit games they play. i just bought a new GMC, I must have contacted 20 different dealerships, and everyone of them wanted my number, wanted me to come down, yada, yada, yada. Give me your best price, period. I dont play games, etc. Finally found one (best price) in south Houston. It was great taking it into service at my local GMC dealership here this week and the Sales Manager asking why I didnt buy there.......well, to begin, you only came off $3k and the dealership I purchased from came off almost $11k....

Have you driven a 5.3 for any amount of time? Have you ridden in the back seat of a Chevy 4 door? Heck, even the front seat is cramped for leg room.

My dad and my tournament partner both have Chevy's with the 5.3 - my tournament partner admits it's not as strong as he'd like and my dad swears it's the weakest V8 he's owned in the last 10 years. Having driven both extensively, I couldn't agree more.

And my vote is 4 door.

sounds like they need a tune...albeit the new 6.2L runs like a raped ape....Id have gotten it if my employer didnt pay such shit on fuel mileage on that engine.....the 5.3s are responding really well to tunes.....2014s that is.....

Milage is gonna be pretty close in any half ton. 1-2 difference maybe. Power isn't far off either. Go drive a couple of each. They both have there pros and cons. Fords are nicer inside but LS motors are hard to beat in the gm.

I need to take my foot off the gas then. Im happy to get 14 out of mine combined. I do a majority of my driving at 65mph. No codes, stock, new filter.

best it ever got was the day i drove it home. Nothing but hwy. It got 18mpg with 93.

I can only get 91 where i live.
