my 2006 5 speed kia i bought with 6 miles currently has 142k and i have driven it like a rental its whole life. if i had to replace it right now i'd get a used 6spd forte since i don't need new anymore. crapstang you should get plenty of life out of that car

Seems like this fits the age-old venn diagram.
You know... fast/cheap/reliable, pick two.
In this case I think it would be... fun/cheap/good mpg, pick two.
I can think of a lot of cars that fit two of the three, but none that satisfy all three criteria.

Those are pretty cool cars. Always liked the styling.
Is it a 4 or 6 cyl? Keep an eye on the catalytic converters. They have a habit of disintegrating and recirculating material into the intake. Many engines have been grenaded (mostly 6cyl) due to this issue. The fix is a set of headers and aftermarket high-flow cats. Honestly, this is one of the main reasons I chose my G35 over a Mazda6. The other reasons being a preference for RWD and not giving a shit about MPGs.

Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?
You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.
