              He was hated by many but he did a lot of good for his part of the world. RIP Mr Mandela. I might not agree with all of your politics but I can't ignore the great things you did.

                          Amnesty International declined to work on Mandella's case; they determined he was not a political prisoner, that he had a fair trial and a sentence appropriate for his violent acts.

                          South African president Botha offerred to release Mandella if he would denounce terrorism. Mandella refused.

                          Turning into a media darling didn't wash the blood of innocent men women and children from his hands.
