ULSD is the regular diesel(non-farm/dyed) at most pumps these days. The gov't lowered the sulfur levels a few years back.

Do you have a ratio you use with the MMO to ulsd? Might try that.

It's not really in your area but Northwest Propane on Harry Hines south of Sam Moons has pump K1 heating Kerosene. I can't remember exactly what it cost but it was $4.50 ? $ 5.00 per gallon. Bring your own jug. Open Sat. untill noon.

It's what I have been using for years.

          Call 'em.

I run the ULSD in my 175000 BTU and runs ok but still stinks but not as bad farm grade. Draw back is you have to leave a door open for fresh air and a fan running to keep the smell and fumes down.

I have always ran diesel in mine. Either way you need a door open part way.

I wish that trick really worked. Sadly it does not.

Used atf works great. you can run it in your truck too. Friend of mine has a home made used oil burner made out of 2 55 gallon drums. He starts a small fire and drips oil on the wood in the bottom drum. exhaust temp rises into the top drum, and exit's exhaust 5 inch stack out the window. works awesome. heats a 4k shop to easy with very little wood and oil.

I saw a shell at riverside and airport frwy has a sign for kerosene and propane. Didn't see a price. North west corner.
