That is almost identical minus the fan deal to what happened to one of my new edges. Was a complete nightmare. Luckily, mine didn't drop the motor though. New fuel pump, pcm, plugs, etc....etc...etc..... And that pcm should have been available at any parts house for $200.

And they charged him around $800, Jesus christ! I don't think he even wants to deal with it anymore. They have been back from NZ for 3 months and without a car the whole time. Right now it's just loss mitigation I think.
