My Samsung LED has been fine, my only complaint is it has a pretty poor view angle (colors drop off noticably unless you're directly in front of it) and the onboard audio is complete shit when compared to any other TV (Not that this matters to 90% of us, but this TV happens to be a wall mount in my gun room).

The thing that will go out with the Samsung LED will be the DLP chip most likely. It is known as the White Dot issue and is most prevalent with certain models. Not that expensive to fix and you can do it yourself. If your lucky you can talk them into a one time complimentary fix. I did it with two TV's out if warranty.
I have a Panasonic Plasma. Absolutely love the picture. My observation of the whole smart BS is it is a waste of money. There is nothing it does I cannot do with my laptop, XBOX, or PS3. The stupid thing when connected to my wireless slows my internet connectivity over wireless down. I get these stupid advertisements popping up all the time. I went and disabled it. So now on power up it just asks me if I want to enjoy the features of it, which I am like hell no to.
I don't know I am just one of those people who like to do certain things on certain devices. Facebook etc is not something I want to perform on my TV. Maybe using it as a monitor yes but not as the computing device.
My $.02 on the Smart BS

do a quick search for Samsung HLT6187SAX 61-Inch Slim LED Engine 1080p DLP HDTV
