I think I know what you mean. I expected it to be a more drastic change a more sinister looking car that screamed bad ass. I don't hate it, but not in love with it.

This... they made such a big deal about this being a whole new model, no more retro, etc. etc. Honestly it looks like more of a refresh than a redesign. Considering the drastic redesigns the rest of Ford's lineup has seen (fusion, explorer, focus, escape etc.) it doesn't scream special considering the lineage... I am curious how the new chasis measures up with less weight, IRS etc.
