  • Off road Go Kart

Anyone have any experience with the off road go karts you see for sale? I know some are junk and some are a little better, pretty sure they are all made in china. I will consider a used one as well. It will need to be a 2 seater for a 9 and 10 year old.

They suck. I got my kids one and my daughter tipped it over and broke the housing on the motor that might as well be made of plastic other than that and the motor being very cold natured it ran pretty good after some JB weld and a ratchet strap

When I was 9-12 years old I messed around with quite a few Go Karts. The best ones were homemade, sadly. Yerf-dog blew, Wolf (I think that's the brand) seemed to be OK, but custom builds were always the best.

Go look at them in person, you can tell a difference right away. For the most part, you get what you pay for

I know a custom would be better but I don't have the time to do it. I know a Polaris RZR 170 is good but they are also pricey.

If you can find a Honda Odyssey, those are badass.

Yea I was looking for those, the only one I found was a POS, missing parts, and looked like it has sat in the weather for 20 years.

Most of them are this way. Parts aren't the easiest to find either. They are awesome if you can find a good one though.

I bought it from some place in Arlington it had a 110cc motor. It was in a crate and we had to put it together.

I've got a one seater that I started to kind of tinker with. No room for it now though. It's about 75% done
