Hell, last year my store was open on Thanksgiving. We did a whooping $800 in sales. Shitty thing to do to people.

Apparently, they were open yesterday this year too.


I had to be in at 6 (2 hours earlier than normal) to support 3 locations of a particular customer, because they were opening early. We had a whopping 3 calls in those extra two hours. Oh well, 13 hours of double time today.

I'm 1 of 5 people who came in today at my work. I didn't have to, but I knew it would be slow. I'm doing inventory on some upcoming picture framing jobs I'll be doing for a client, and the quiet helps. I'll be heading home to devour left overs in a little while.

I got here at 6:30. One of our suppliers was waiting at the gate. I guess they told the 5 o'clock guy to come at 6:30 too as he rolled up right after I did.

I loaded up and hit the three stops, unfortunately, two were closed. Oh well, I'm back at our shop waiting to start end of month inventory. Hope it doesn't take too long, wife wants to go downtown ft worth to see the parade of lights and I have to load my "swing oil" flask my daughter got me for my birthday.
