Nah. He might have been a flaming homo, but I don't know of any singers that could match his intensity or vocal ability in both live performances and studio. I also can't think of any singers that have the diversity as Freddie, go from "Another one bites the dust" to the Highlander "Who wants to live forever" and then to "Crazy little thing called love". The only one that might come close is Ray Charles.
