I put all my spending on my credit cards yet still dont think they amount to much. Credit card sign up bonus is the only thing I really pay attention to. Used 500k miles last year and had a hell of a round the world trip.

I use Discover for most everything we purchase - get 3% on everything and 5% on whatever the quarterly special is.
No shit, I've earned almost $2500 year to date in "free" cash. If I could figure out how to put my mortgage and all other bills on it, I'd do it.

Live like no one else so that you can live like no one else.Originally posted by davbrucasI want to like Slow99 since people I know say he's a good guy, but just about everything he posts is condescending and passive aggressive.
Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?
You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

any specific card recommendations for a first time user?
i want to start building my credit. how long would it take to build a decent credit by paying off the balance every month? does it matter how much you spend?
i just want to start charging essentials like gas, groceries, etc... and pay it off every billing cycle.

Look for soft appovals so you don't take a hard inquiry to find out you are denied.Originally posted by LeahBest balls I've had in my mouth in a while.
